Bausch Health this morning announced that it will expand it’s contact lens manufacturing capacity at it’s Waterford site, with around 100 new jobs set to be created locally.
The company currently employs approximately 1,350 people in Waterford and Mark Hennessey of Bausch & Lomb Waterford said the announcement is a testament to the efforts and committment of its staff in the city.
Construction work on the new existing site’s expansion is set to begin in the second quarter of next year.
The investment will support the development of a new line of contact lenses.
