THE Arts Forum presents an open invitation to local arts workers who wish to learn more about applying for funding / making a pitch or marketing your art. Running in the GOMA Art Gallery on Wednesday, April 10 from 7 pm to 9 pm this free event will features presentations from Nick Kavanagh – A self-employed theatre-maker who will be discussing the ‘pitfalls to avoid when working with grants’, John O’Connor –¬† A visual artist / sculptor who was previously the Head of the WIT Arts Department – John will be talking about¬† ‘pitching for public commissions and other grants’ having won numerous commissions in the past. The final speaker will be Zack Shay is a business coach and marketing expert with a passion for the arts – will be doing a presentation on marketing your artwork.

Everyone is welcome to this event, but you will have to book in advance through eventbrite. The Arts Forum will also be seeking your suggestions at the end of the event for future gatherings and what other topics you would like to see explored.
