JUST before we went to press on Monday evening (August 12) a spokesperson for University Hospital Waterford confirmed that a full chaplaincy service, which is expected to include three paid chaplains, has been secured at the hospital.

The full statement read, “A spokesperson for University Hospital Waterford confirmed that it has been agreed that additional chaplains will commence duty in University Hospital Waterford to provide a 24/7 chaplain service.”
