A UNIQUE week of entertainment in Waterford begins tonight as Big Top Live kicks off with Irish music legend Finbar Furey taking to the stage in an enormous 45x45m tent at Waterside Car Park.

Five fantastic events will take place across the week, with locals well represented on the stage and off it – Our Waterford Food Area will see food from the best restaurants in the city be made available to those attending events each night.

Local superstar Keith Barry will perform his latest show Brainwashed on Wednesday evening before two crackpot Bingo Loco events are held on Thursday and Friday night.

Big Top Live will finish up on Saturday evening when post-punk rock group the Happy Mondays take to the stage, with two excellent local groups King Kong Company and Backroad Smokers Club playing beforehand.
