Liam Cahill will begin his tenure of manager of the Waterford senior hurlers with a home game against Cork in the Co-op Superstores Munster Hurling League in Fraher Field in Dungarvan on December 20 under lights at 7.30pm

The Déise’s other fixture in this competition, unless they make the final (on January 12) will be away to Kerry in Austin Stack Park in Tralee on January 5 at 2pm.
In football, Waterford will open their McGrath Cup campaign at home to Limerick in Fraher Field on January 2 at 7.30pm. Three days later they travel to take on Clare in Ennis at 2pm.

The full list of Allianz League Fixtures have was revealed this week. Waterford will play their opening game of the football league against Wicklow on Saturday January 25th in Fraher Field 7 p.m. with the hurlers playing Cork on the following day in Walsh Park in their NHL opener.
