ALONG with all other ports in the State, the Port of Waterford is operating under Government and public health Covid-19 protocols, a status ‘which will continue to be reviewed and updated in light of emerging information’.

“All ships arriving at Waterford are required to complete a Declaration of Health which is reviewed and risk assessed,” according to a Port of Waterford spokesperson.

“We have robust procedures in place and are doing our utmost to maintain full operations so that we play our part in sustaining critical supply chains in this unprecedented situation.”

The annual value of goods passing through Belview was estimated at €1.7 billion in 2017, with almost 1,000 jobs now based in or supported by businesses within its industrial zone.
