IT’S with deep and sad regret that we place on record the death of Jack O’Leary, Ballygunnertemple, Grantstown, who was called from this life on Thursday, May 28. His remains were removed, on Saturday, May 30, to the Holy Cross Church, Killea. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining Cemetery.

We also place on record the death of Margaret Burke, Chestnut Green, Waterford, who passed away on Thursday, May 28. Private funeral will be celebrated amid the Covid-19 guidelines. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.

The death has taken place of Betty Flynn nee Conway, Kilcohan, Waterford, and late of St. John’s Park, who passed away to her eternal rest on Friday, May 29. Her remains were removed, on Sunday, May 31, to the Sacred Heart Church, the Folly. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.

The death has also occurred of Michael Bergin, Ballytruckle Court, and late of Ballyragget, Kilkenny, who died on Thursday, May 28. Private funeral will be celebrated amid the Covid-19 guidelines. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.

It’s also with sadness and regret that we place on record the death of Sheila Barbara Angel nee Smith, Wellington Terrace, Dunmore East, who was called from this life on Wednesday, May 27. His remains were removed, on Saturday, May 30, to St. Andrew’s Church, Dunmore East. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival to the adjoining Cemetery.

We also place on record the death of Mary Treacy nee Barry, Killure Bridge Nursing Home, Waterford, and late of Newtown Rise, Tramore, who passed away on Friday, May 29. Her remains were removed, on Monday, June 1, to the Holy Cross Church, Tramore. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Killian’s Cemetery, Ferrybank.

The death has taken place of Robert Stacey, Killure Manor, Waterford, who passed away to his eternal rest on Saturday, May 30. His remains were removed, on Tuesday, June 2, to the Sacred Heart Church, the Folly followed by private burial.

The death has also occurred of Carmel Hoey Hoy nee Keaney, Clontarf, Dublin, and late of Ferrybank, who died on Sunday, May 31. Private funeral will be celebrated amid the Covid-19 guidelines. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.

We also place on record the death of Aidan Ned Burns, Gandon Drive, Norwood, who passed away suddenly, on Saturday, May 30. His remains were removed from his parents residence at Norwood, on Wednesday, June 3, to St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to Dunhill Cemetery.
