“The issues facing ordinary, genuine and hardworking people spanning across Ireland today are certainly felt in our locality,” said Mr Murphy.
“I believe that together we can see real change whilst providing support to those who need it in our community. I have most recently demonstrated this by leading a community group on the Copper Coast around the issue of litter amongst many others.”
Mr Murphy added: “I could state the issues that are clear in our area but instead I want to lead the change that you ask me to. What is it that you want to see action on in your local area? What issues are you facing? Let me try to help. No issue is too big or too small, be it a pot hole or a street light all the way to the development of your locality or village, anti-social behaviour or traffic calming measures please don’t hesitate in asking for assistance. I have been and will continue to work on behalf of the people in the Comeragh area.”
