IN its commitment to support the local community, a company based in the Industrial Park, Cork Road, made a very generous donation to Waterford Hospice last week.
At the Ball facility Stephen Kiely, Plant Manager, handed over a generous cheque for €10,000 to Danette Connolly, Chairperson, Waterford Hospice.
“At a global level Ball Corporation set up a Covid-19 Community Support Initiative to allow its sites to help the communities where they operate to combat this unprecedented global crisis. Here in the Waterford site we are united in our commitment to support our local community and we are delighted to have chosen Waterford Hospice as its number one benefactor, receiving a donation of €10,000,” Stephen said.
