THE Health Protection Surveillance Centre has updated the locations (per electoral area) of Waterford’s covid cases over the past 14 days. They are listed below in order of highest number of cases.

Tramore/Waterford City West

Between October 6 and October 19 there were 58 new cases of Covid-19 in the Tramore/Waterford City West electoral area. That equates to 259.3 per 100k population.

Waterford City South

Between October 6 and October 19 there were 42 new coronavirus cases in Waterford City South. This equates to 186.9 cases per 100k population.

Dungarvan

Between October 6 and October 19 there were 31 new coronavirus cases in the Dungarvan electoral area. This equates to 151.2 per 100k population.

Waterford City East 

Between October 6 and October 19 there were 22 new coronavirus cases in the Waterford City East electoral area. This amounts to 95.7 cases per 100k population.

Portlaw/Kilmacthomas

Between October 6 and October 19 there were less than 19 new coronavirus cases in the Portlaw/Kilmacthomas electoral area. This equates to 111 per 100k population.

Lismore

Between October 6 and October 19 there were less than 5 new coronavirus cases in the Lismore electoral area.
