Colin and Rose are raffling everything so they can have enjoy the trip of a lifetime.

THE Waterford couple who piqued the interests of the nation by raffling off their house, car and €5k cash have just 33 days left to hit their target of selling 80,000 tickets. Rose Jones and her husband Colin, from Hennessy’s Road in the city have already sold almost 46,000 tickets and the recently renovated house and BMW M2 will only be up for grabs if they reach that magical number of 80k tickets. If they fail to reach the target the raffle will still go ahead and entrants will have the chance to win 75% of the ticket sales.

Speaking to the Waterford News & Star this week, Rose, who hopes to travel the world in a camper van if they succeed, said that she was delighted with how the raffle has gone so far.

“I can’t thank people enough for their support to help us make our trip of a lifetime happen,” she said. “I really hope that we’ll be able to repay their kindness by changing someone’s life for the better in 2021”.
