THE seventh annual Waterford Business Awards are set to take place online via live stream on February 26th. The shortlisted businesses from 2020 have been announced today.

Waterford Chamber have partnered with WLR and West Waterford Chamber for the gala awards ceremony which will take place which will take place virtually on Facebook for the first time ever.
Speaking about the awards, Waterford Chamber President Danette Connolly said, “It has been an incredibly difficult year for our business community, so I think we all need some positivity and the Waterford Business Awards are sure to provide just that. They will give us the opportunity to honour those who have excelled against adversity and we look forward to announcing the winners at our live virtual event on February 26th.”
Businesses within each category will go head to head to compete for the category prize. Each of the category winners will then compete for the overall Waterford Business of the Year prize, which is sponsored by Waterford Council. Additionally this year, a special prize for Entrepreneur of the Year will be presented to an individual. This prize is sponsored by Faithlegg House Hotel.
