IT’S with deep and sad regret that we place on record the death of Willie O’Callaghan, Waterford Junior League President, Arbour Road, Lisduggan, who was called from this life on Friday, February 12. His remains were removed, on Tuesday, February 16, to St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Otteran’s Cemetery.

We also place on record the death of Joe Keating, Luke Wadding Street, Waterford, who passed away on Friday, February 12. His remains were removed, on Tuesday, February 16, to the Holy Family Church, Luke Wadding Street. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Otteran’s Cemetery.

The death has taken place of Freddie Robinson, Skibbereen Lawn, Lismore Heights, who passed away to his eternal rest on Sunday, February 14. His remains were removed, on Wednesday, February 18, to St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan. Cremation took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival.

The death has also occurred of Eileen Power, Viewmount, Waterford, and late of Ferrybank, who died on Saturday, February 13. Her remains were removed from Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Tuesday, February 16, to St. Joseph and Benildus Church, Newtown. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Killian’s Cemetery, Ferrybank.

It’s also with sadness and regret that we place on record the death of Kay Marie Lynch nee Dowling, Aylesbury, Ferrybank, and late of Kilkenny, who was called from this life on Sunday, February 14. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Tuesday, February 16, to St. Canice’s Church, Kilkenny. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to Foulkstown Cemetery, Kilkenny.

We also place on record the death of Bridget Bridie Hurley nee O’Connor, Grange Heights, Waterford, late of Tramore and Wexford, who passed away on Sunday, February 14. A private funeral was celebrated on Wednesday, February 16, in St. James’ Church, Horsewood, Wexford.

The death has taken place of William Liam Kelly, Larchville, Waterford, who passed away to his eternal rest on Monday, February 15. His remains were removed, on Thursday, February 18, to St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to Kilbarry Cemetery.

The death has also occurred of Pat Hearne, Tramore, Waterford, who died on Monday, February 15. His remains were removed from Falconer’s Funeral Home, Tramore, on Friday, February 19, to the Holy Cross Church, Tramore. Cremation took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the Island Crematorium, Cork.

The death has also occurred of Geoffrey Deevy, Ballymabin, Dunmore East, and late of Maypark House Nursing Home, who died on Monday, February 15. A private committal service was celebrated on Wednesday, February 17, to John’s Hill Cemetery.

Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.

We also place on record the death of David Coughlan, Belvedere Drive, Waterford, who passed away on Friday, February 12. A private cremation service was celebrated on Wednesday, February 17, to the Island Crematorium, Cork.

The death has taken place of Patrick Paddy Ryan, Lismore Park, Waterford, who passed away to his eternal rest on Monday, February 15. A private cremation took place on Friday, February 19, to the Island Crematorium, Cork, amid Covid 19 guidelines.

The death has also occurred of Francis McBride, Ferrybank, Waterford, and late of Dunnamaggin, Kilkenny, who died on Monday, February 15. His remains were removed from Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Thursday, February 18, to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Hugginstown. It’s also with sadness and regret that we place on record the death of Noel Kavanagh, Ballybeg Square, Waterford, who was called from this life on Tuesday, February 16. His remains were removed from Falconer’s Funeral Home, Tramore, on Thursday, February 18, to St. Saviour’s Church, Ballybeg. Burial took place after a private funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to Kilbarry Cemetery.

We also place on record the death of Frances Duke nee Peavoy, Comeragh Park, Lismore Heights, who passed away on Tuesday, February 16. A private funeral was celebrated amid Covid 19 guidelines.

The death has taken place of Brian Edward Roche, St. John’s Park, Waterford, who passed away to his eternal rest on Wednesday, February 17.
