The Flynn family from Dungarvan, who own the Flynn Hotels Group, are this evening celebrating another Cheltenham winner after their mare, Colreevy (9/4), has won the Mares’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

The mare was doubtful for this race right up until last week when it looked as though connections might opt to keep her at home to run at Limerick at the weekend but she fought all the way down the hill against stablemate, Ellimay, and at the line Paul Townend and Colreevy had a half length to spare over Ellimay (6/5) and Mark Walsh, with Shattered Love back in third.
