Ciaran Curran (above) has stepped down as Waterford ladies football manager after three years in charge.
The Dungarvan man guided the Déise to the Division 2 title in 2019, two All Ireland quarter finals and a Munster final.
Waterford lost by six points to Cork in last eight of the All Ireland series at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday afternoon.
“That’s going to be my last day with the group,” Curran confirmed. “I’ve had three great years with the girls, it’s a real privilege and an honour to be dealing with that group of players. We have made progress and there’s a really good panel there going forward. It’s an opportunity for somebody else to take it on to the next step. I look back with fond memories of my time involved with the girls.”
