Brickey Rangers have conceded a walkover to The Nire in Round 2 of the county senior football championship this weekend.

The game was due to take place on Saturday afternoon in Fraher Field but Brickeys are unable to field a team as seven players are out injured.

It means that The Nire and Kilmacthomas are through to the quarter finals of the championship.

The three SFC fixtures that will go ahead at the weekend are….

Saturday – Fraher Field 7 p.m. Gr. A – Ballinacourty V An Rinn

Saturday – Walsh Park 3.30 p.m. Gr. B – Gaultier V Kilrossanty

Sunday – Fraher Field 2 p.m. Gr. D – Rathgormack V Clashmore/Kinsalebeg
