IT’S with deep and sad regret that we place on record the death of Stephen Barrett, Upper Johnstown, Waterford, who was called from this life on Thursday, January 13. His remains were removed from Falconer’s Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, on Saturday, January 15, to the Holy Family Church, Luke Wadding Street. Cremation took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork.

We also place on record the death of Sr Katherine Quilligan, Sacred Heart of Mary, Ferrybank, and late of Clare, who passed away on Saturday, January 15. Her remains were removed, on Monday, January 17, to the Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the Convent Cemetery.

The death has taken place of Thomas Tom Kennedy, Hennessy’s Road, Waterford, late of Arbour Road, and Brown’s Lane, who passed away to his eternal rest on Saturday, January 15. His remains were removed, on Wednesday, January 19, to St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan. Private cremation took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival.

The death has also occurred of Helen Nellie Twomey nee Leahy, Lisduggan, Waterford, and late of Ferrybank, who died on Sunday, January 16. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Tuesday, January 18, to St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Killian’s Cemetery, Ferrybank.

It’s also with sadness and regret that we place on record the death of Nancy Kenny nee Cummins, Slievekeale Road, Waterford, and late of Rossduff, Waterford, who was called from this life on Saturday, January 15. Her remains were removed from Tom Hennessy’s Funeral Home, Johnstown, on Wednesday, January 19, to the Holy Family Church, Luke Wadding Street. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Butlerstown.

We also place on record the death of Dolores O’Sullivan nee Cummins, The Cove, Tramore, who passed away on Monday, January 17. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Thursday, January 20, to the Holy Cross Church, Tramore. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tramore.

The death has taken place of Patrick Paddy O’Brien, German Road, St. John’s Park, and late of Waterford Crystal, who passed away to his eternal rest on Sunday, January 16. His remains were removed from his residence, on Wednesday, January 19, to the Sacred Heart Church, the Folly. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Butlerstown.

The death has also occurred of Elma Deady, Kilcohan Park, Waterford, who died on Saturday, January 15. Her remains were removed, on Wednesday, January 19, to the Sacred Heart Church, the Folly. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.

It’s also with sadness and regret that we place on record the death of Margaret McAllister nee Mulligan, Annestown, Waterford, former nurse of St. Patrick’s Hospital, who was called from this life on Wednesday, January 19. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Friday, January 21, to the Church of the Sacred Heart Church, Dunhill. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

We also place on record the death of Aileen Doherty nee Kiely, Ferrybank, Waterford, who passed away on Tuesday, January 18. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Thursday, January 20, to the Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

The death has taken place of Gary Colfer, Morrison’s Road, Waterford, and late of Mount Sion Avenue, who passed away to his eternal rest on Tuesday, January 18. His remains were removed from Falconer’s Funeral Home, Tramore, on Monday, January 24, to the Island Crematorium, Cork. Cremation took place after funeral service, which was celebrated on arrival.

His remains were removed from his residence, on Sunday, January 16, to St John the Baptist Church, Lisronagh. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on Monday, January 17, to the adjoining cemetery.

We also place on record the death of Joan O’Connell nee Han Organ, Abbeyside, Waterford, who passed away on Friday, December 24.  Her remains were removed from the Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Monday, January 17, to St. Augustine’s Church, Abbeyside. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on Tuesday, January 18, to the adjoining cemetery.

The death has taken place of John O’Brien, Lismore, Waterford, late of Castlebar, Mayo, London Transport, ESB Waterford, and Supervalu, Castlebar, who passed away to his eternal rest on Wednesday, January 12. His remains were removed from Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, on Sunday, January 16, to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the New Cemetery.

The death has also occurred of Alice Cotter nee Fraher, Ballinamult, Waterford, who died on Wednesday, January 12. Her remains were removed from Drohan’s Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Saturday, January 15, to St. Mary’s Church, Touraneena. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Mary’s Old Churchyard Cemetery.

We also place on record the death of Charlie Ware, Aglish, Waterford, who passed away on Saturday, January 15. His remains were removed from Walsh’s Funeral Home, Cappoquin, on Tuesday, January 11, to the Church of the Assumption, Aglish. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

The death has taken place of Martin Power, Clonea Power, Waterford, and late of Cashel, Tipperary, who passed away to his eternal rest on Thursday, January 13. His remains were removed from Dualla House, Cashel, on Sunday, January 16, to Our Lady of Fatima Church, Dualla. The death has also occurred of Dympna Mary Jimmy Foley nee Corcoran, Abbeyside, Waterford, who died on Friday, January 14. Her remains were removed from Drohan’s Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Wednesday, January 19, to St. Augustine’s Church, Abbeyside. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

It’s also with sadness and regret that we place on record the death of Brendan Ben Butler, Stradbally, Waterford, who was called from this life on Thursday, January 13. His remains were removed from Drohan’s Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Tuesday, January 18, to the Sacred Heart Church, Faha. Private cremation took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival.

We also place on record the death of Daniel Joseph Ryan, Ballymacarbry, Waterford, and late of Donohill, Tipperary, who passed away on Saturday, January 15. His remains were removed, on Tuesday, January 18, to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Donohill. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Tipperary Town.

The death has taken place of Mary O’Shea nee Grace, Owning, and late of Waterford, who passed away to her eternal rest on Friday, January 14. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 18, at Falconer’s Funeral Home, Tramore, followed by burial to Owning Cemetery.

The death has also occurred of Michael Walsh, Dungarvan, Waterford, who died on Sunday, January 16. His remains were removed from the Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Thursday, January 20, to St. Mary’s Church, Dungarvan. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

It’s also with sadness and regret that we place on record the death of Margaret Olive O’Neill nee Whelan, Abbeyside, Waterford, who was called from this life on Tuesday, January 18. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Friday, January 21, to St. Augustine’s Church, Abbeyside. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

We also place on record the death of Bridget Bridie Power, Araglen, Waterford, and late of Cork, who passed away on Tuesday, January 18. Her remains were removed, on Friday, January 21, to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Araglen. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to Ballyduff Cemetery.

The death has taken place of Eileen McGrath nee Brazil, Ballymacarbry, Waterford, who passed away to her eternal rest on Tuesday, January 18. Her remains were removed, on Friday, January 21, to St. Helena’s Church, the Nire. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.
