Bethan Morgan with coach Maddie Croke of the Kilbarry Gymnastics Academy.

Kilbarry Gymnastics Academy (KGA) is very proud of their young Waterford gymnast Bethan Morgan (9) who took the bronze medal at the Gymnastic Ireland National Series FIG Level 1 PLus All-Around Championship at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena in Dublin recently.

Bethan who competed in the Over 8 Level 1 plus category is the club’s first gymnast to enter into the Plus levels which is the start of the elite competition pathway. The Gymnastics Ireland National Series encompasses all national level competitive events including the National Championships and National Series Super Championships. Each discipline has a progressive age-group based competitive pathway designed to develop the gymnasts from national competitive level through to international level.

Club director and head coach Maddie Croke, was delighted with the result: “Here at KGA we are all very proud of Bethan, she works very hard and it is great to see one of our gymnasts compete on the National Stage at the Elite Levels”.
