IT’S with deep and sad regret that we place on record the following deaths of Waterford people. May they Rest in Peace.

Mary Moll O’Dwyer, Ballinakill Avenue, Waterford, who was called from this life on Saturday, July 23. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Tuesday, July 26, to the Sacred Heart Church, the Folly. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to Foulkstown Cemetery, Kilkenny.

Veronica Nonnie Mortell nee Flanagan, Ballybeg, Waterford, who passed away on Sunday, July 24. Her remains were removed from Falconer’s Funeral Home, Tramore, on Thursday, July 28, to St. Saviour’s Church, Ballybeg. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to Kilbarry Cemetery.

Charlie Hoban, Ferrybank, Waterford, who died on Monday, July 25. His remains were removed from his residence, on Wednesday, July 27, to the Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

Marie Cheasty, Ard na Greine, Waterford, who was called from this life on Monday, July 25. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Thursday, July 28, to the Holy Family Church, Luke Wadding Street. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Butlerstown.

Willie Boyle, St. John’s Park, Waterford, who passed away on Monday, July 25. His remains were removed from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Wednesday, July 27, to the Sacred Heart Church, the Folly. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.

Jimmy Fitzgerald, Belmont Park, Ferrybank, and late of Cathal Brugha Street, who died on Monday, July 25. His remains were removed from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Thursday, July 28, to St. Patrick’s Chapel, Belmont. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Otteran’s Cemetery.

Maurice Scanlon, Dominick’s Place, Waterford, who was called from this life on Wednesday, July 27. A private cremation took place on Friday, July 29.

John Walsh, Lower Newtown, Waterford, and late of CIE, who passed away on Thursday, July 28. His remains were removed from Tom Hennessy’s Funeral Home, Johnstown, on Saturday, July 30, to St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

Michael O’Brien, the Folly, Waterford, who died on Thursday, July 28. His remains were removed from Falconer’s Funeral Home, Tramore, on Saturday, July 30, to the Sacred Heart Church, the Folly. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.

Patrick Pat Mullane, O’Brien Street, Waterford, late of the Quay, and Wexford, who was called from this life on Thursday, July 28. His remains were removed from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Saturday, July 30, to the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Barronstrand Street. Private cremation took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival.

Eily Culleton nee O’Reilly Cunningham, Lower Yellow Road, Waterford, who passed away on Wednesday, July 27. Her remains were removed from her daughter’s residence, on Saturday, July 30, to Ballybricken Church. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

Mary May Caulfield nee O’Neill, Lisduggan, Waterford, who died on Thursday, July 28. Her remains were removed from her residence, on Saturday, July 30, to St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to St. Otteran’s Cemetery.

Tom Fitzgerald, Grange, Waterford, who passed away on Saturday, July 23. His remains were removed from his residence, on Tuesday, July 26, to St. Bartholomew’s Church, Piltown. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival, to the adjoining cemetery.

Lar Walsh, Ballinamult, Waterford, who died on Sunday, July 24. His remains were removed from the Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Wednesday, July 27, to St. Anne’s Church, Colligan. Burial took place after funeral Mass, which was celebrated on arrival to the adjoining cemetery.

John O’Sullivan, Abbeyside, Waterford, who was called from this life on Sunday, July 24. His remains were removed from Drohan’s Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Tuesday, July 26, to St. Augustine’s Church, Abbeyside. Florence Dollard nee Kelly, Slieverue, Waterford, and late of Kilmacthomas, who passed away on Monday, July 25.
