The draws were made during the week for the 2022 Munster Club Championships, just ahead of Waterford’s five hurling county finals at the weekend.
Reigning Munster and All-Ireland champions, Ballygunner, will be out in a Quarter-final as they have been drawn at home (Waterford venue) to the Tipperary champions on the weekend of November 5/6.
The winners will take on the Limerick champions on the weekend of November 19/20, while the Munster Final is fixed for the weekend of December 3/4.
Sticking with hurling. Despite losing out to Ballygunner’s second team in an epic County Intermediate Final, Ballysaggart will represent Waterford and they have been drawn away to the Tipperary champions on the weekend of November 5/6. The winners of that game will face the Cork champions in a semi-final.
Newly crowned Junior Champions Colligan will take on the Tipperary or Cork champions in a semi-final on the weekend of November 19/20, with the final on the weekend of December 3/4.
In football, the Waterford senior champions will travel to Clare for a quarter-final meeting with the Banner champions on the weekend of November 12/13. The prize for the winners is a meeting with the Kerry representatives on the weekend of November 26/27.
In the intermediate championship the Déise champions will be away to the Limerick winners on the weekend of November 12/13, with the winners taking on the Tipp champions in the semi-finals.
And last but not least, the Waterford Junior Football winners will travel to Limerick on the weekend of November 12/13, with the winners taking on the Kerry representatives.
