Gardaí are reporting a spate of catalytic converter thefts in Waterford.

In the early hours of Friday a catalytic converter was stolen from a car that was parked in Mayfield Road, The Beeches, Ferrybank. The incident occurred at 2am on Friday morning. Anyone with dash cam/CCTV footage is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station.  

Another catalytic converter was taken from a car in Mount Sion between 8pm on Thursday and 8am on Friday. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to contact Waterford Gard Station.

Meanwhile, Gardaí are investigating a report of a damage to a car while parked on roadside in Ursuline Crescent. The car was spray painted green sometime between 6pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday. Anyone with any information or footage of any kind is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station.
