Barista Course

Some of our TY students took part in an intensive Barista Training course over the midterm break. A huge thanks to Stephen and Siobhan for facilitating our groups. Each student will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course.

Lions Club

Congratulations to Fina Eccleston and Alannah Walsh, TY, who participated in the Lions Club Young Ambassador Awards in the Nano Nagle Centre in Carrick-on-Suir. They presented a project idea for their community’s benefit and will receive their awards in December.

Hockey

Well done to our first year hockey squad, who played against Newtown, Waterford on Wednesday last. For many of our girls this was their first ever hockey match. There were some super individual performances. The girls will work hard to now prepare for their first league match in December.

Bonmahon Lifesaving Club

Congratulations to all our students who received their Life Saving awards from Bonmahon Lifeguard Club last week. A special mention to Sixth Year student Kellie Galvin, who received her Lifesaving Teacher Award.

Soccer Trip

A group of 50 students travelled to the Etihad Stadium to attend the Premier League match between Chelsea and Manchester City. As always, a great time was had by all. A big thanks to Kealan O’Neill for organising these trips every year for our students.

Students enjoyed their trip to the Etihad Stadium to see Manchester City play Chelsea.

Fifty students travelled to Manchester for the recent Premier League match.
