The death has occurred of John Cahill of St. Otteran’s Terrace in Tramore, Waterford. John passed away surrounded by his loving family this Saturday, Jan 7, 2023. 

John was predeceased by his siblings Maureen, Thomas, Jimmy, Kathleen, Teresa, and Tony. He will be missed by all his nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; all his extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.

For those wishing to attend John’s funeral, his remains will be reposing at Falconer’s Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore tonight, Monday  January 9 from 6-7 pm. This service is open to all and the family would like to extend a welcome to anyone who knew John.

The requiem mass for John Cahill will take place tomorrow, Tuesday January 10 at 10 am, in the Holy Cross Church in Tramore. His burial will follow immediately after the ceremony in the adjoining cemetery. The funeral cortège will meet at approximately 9:45am at Tramore Credit Union to walk to the church for 10am.

John’s requiem mass is available as a live stream from tramoreparish.ie and may suit those who are isolating due to Covid or other reasons.
