The death has occurred of David Scanlon, also known as Dave, late of Kyne Park, Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, January 30, 2023. Dave previously lived in Lismore Lawn, Waterford.
According to the family, “Dave left us wanting more time after a sterling battle with illness.”
Dave (44), leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife Karen, his adoring children Willow, Eve, Ethan, Chris, Kavan and Shawna.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family, heartbroken parents Maurice and Ann, parents-in-law Alice and Michael, devastated sisters Sharon and Liz, brothers-in-law Nigel, Shane and Rob, sister-in-law Laura, his beloved nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his cherished friends.

Reposing in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Wednesday February 1 from 2pm with removal at 4pm to St. Augustine’s Church, Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford for prayers on arrival at 5 pm.
Requiem mass on Thursday at 11 am in St. Augustine’s Church followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
