The Pink Floyd Experience will bring their show ‘Breathe’ to Theatre Royal this March.

WATERFORD will soon be seeing the Dark Side of the Moon this coming spring at the Theatre Royal.

‘Breathe – The Pink Floyd Experience’ act are presenting ‘The Dark Side of the Moon Experience’ to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic prog-rock album.

The show is a two-hour celebration of the album, as well as some fan favourite classic songs from Pink Floyd’s impressive back catalogue.

‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ was released in 1973 and has sold over 50 million albums, making it one of the most impactful albums of music ever created.

Pink Floyd were infamous for their fractious relationship, breaking up and reforming multiple times, but the popularity of their music never waned.

The Pink Floyd Experience have been touring the world to recreate the magic of the music with their spectacular, psychedelic stage show.

The band cover songs from as early as Pink Floyd’s ‘The Pipers at the Gates of Dawn’ 1967 debut album, all the way to their last full album 1994’s ‘The Division Bell’.

The group is made up of accomplished session musicians, who have worked with many of the greats like Sinead O’Connor, Sharon Shannon, Donovan and Shane McGowan, to name a few.

The show kicks off on Saturday, March 4, at 8pm.

Tickets cost €29.50 and are available online at theatreroyal.ie.
