The death has occurred of Rena Kennedy née McDonald, late of The Folly, Waterford. Rena passed away February 14, 2023.
Rena is predeceased by her brothers Raymond and Aidan (McDonald), sisters-in-law Mary (Doyle) and Maura (McDonald), brothers-in-law Jim (Doyle) and Ken (Breathnach).
Rena will be sadly missed by her loving husband Tom, her children Patrick, Ciarán, Lorcan, Mairéad, Emer, Siobhan and Seán, her beloved fourteen grandchildren, brother Christy, sister-in-law Kathleen, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Friday February 17 from 7pm to 8:30pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 8pm.
Rena’s funeral cortége will be walking from Ballytruckle Green on Saturday to the Sacred Heart Church, The Folly for Mass on arrival at 1:30 pm followed by burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery.
