The death has occurred of James (Jim) Carmody, late of Cloone Road, Ferrybank, Waterford, March 13, 2023. Jim is a former resident of Lower Newtown and lecturer of WIT, now SETU.
Jim is predeceased by his wife Ann, sisters May and Terry and is the much-loved father of David, Emma, Louise, and Mary.
Jim will be deeply missed by his sons-in-law Ronan, Conor and Shay, sister Anne and his adored grandchildren Luke, Kate, Cian, Jack, Emily, Tom, Seán and Oísin. He will be sadly missed by his extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Jim’s cortege will be passing St Anne’s Tennis Club and Lower Newtown en route to St Mary’s Church, Ballygunner on Thursday for Mass on arrival at 11:30 am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
