Waterford U-20 hurling manager, Gary O’Keeffe. 

On Wednesday of next week Waterford will face Limerick in the opening game of the new Round Robin style Munster U-20 Hurling Championship. The Waterford panel was named over the weekend by team manager Gary O’Keeffe (Ballygunner) with Joe Booth of Colligan and Conor Keane of De La Salle named as joint captains with Josh Fitzgerald of Clashmore as Vice Captain.
The panel contains three of the side that started in last year’s narrow loss to Tipperary namely current senior panellists Mark Fitzgerald and Patrick Fitzgerald as well as joint captain Joe Booth. There are also a number of players from last year’s minor squad involved.
The full panel is as follows:
Abbeyside – Charlie Treen, Brian O’Callaghan, Darragh Walsh, Rian Walsh, Willie Beresford.
Ballygunner – Aaron O’Neill, Kealan Furlong, Luke Horgan, Cian Troy, Cormac Cantwell, Patrick Fitzgerald.
Ballyduff Lower – Rory Dobbyn, Jack O’Donnell.
Brickey Rangers, Tom O’Connell, Niall Browne.
